어머니가 싸리 빗자루로 쓸어 놓은 눈길을 걸어
누구의 발자국 하나 찍히지 않은
순백의 골목을 지나
새들의 발자국 같은 흰 발자국을 남기며
첫눈 오는 날 만나기로 한 사람을 만나러 가자
팔짱을 끼고 더러 눈길에 미끄러지기도 하면서
가난한 아저씨가 연탄 화덕 앞에 쭈그리고 앉아
목장갑 낀 손으로 구워 놓은 군밤을
더러 사먹기도 하면서
첫눈 오는 날 만나기로 한 사람을 만나
눈물이 나도록 웃으며 눈길을 걸어가자
사랑하는 사람들만이 첫눈을 기다린다
첫눈을 기다리는 사람들만이
첫눈 같은 세상이 오기를 기다린다
아직도 첫눈 오는 날 만나자고
약속하는 사람들 때문에 첫눈은 내린다
세상에 눈이 내린다는 것과
눈 내리는 거리를 걸을 수 있다는 것은
그 얼마나 큰 축복인가?
첫눈 오는 날 만나자
첫눈 오는 날 만나기로 한 사람을 만나
커피를 마시고 눈 내리는 기차역 부근을 서성거리자.

Let’s walk on snowy streets with laughing run into tears
Only loved ones wait for the first snow
Only those who wait for the first snow,
wait for a world to come just like the first snow
Still meeting at the first snowy day
Because of the people who promise it, the first snow falls
That there is snow in the world and
Being able to walk the snowy streets
How blessed is that?

Let’s hanging around the snowy railway station drinking coffee.
